It's my mum's birthday today! Happy Birthday lesley! I know it doesn't really make that much sense to put my mum's birthday in my blog, expecially when I spent the vast majority of the day in an art block, but it's something to write about eh?

In other news, my mum's childrens' book has a raised a lot of excitement amongst agents and publishers, which is always nice, and I've begun work on my own story, which is proving to be far more difficult than I first predicted. Ho hum...
