Banjo tuning is difficult. Or at least it's difficult when you don't really know what you're doing. And it becomes a real problem when you start breaking strings. And it becomes and even bigger problem when it's someone else's banjo.
My musical experimentation cost me £6.50 and a walk into town. Still, at least I found a really cheap copy of Resident Evil (£2.99: bargain!)
I think we can all learn from this experience.
