Creme eggs, repayed debts and script delivery today, all is progressing well...
Except my English coursework, which continues to drag its feet like some sort of incredibly bored analytical sloth. Ho hum.

Well so much for that initiative...
My wireless connection has been a little unreliable lately, and so have I.
In other news, I picked up a rather odd couple of (very) old 45 singles for 25p each outside a little antique shop in Sharrow, by a guy who appeared to be called (from the extremely battered label) something like Adam Hopeless. The quality's awful, but the music is fun, I'm pretty sure it's banjo music though, and I'm going to try and find some way of getting it online soon.
More news as it comes.

Having taken a long, hard look at the my brother and my father's blogs, I was so appalled at the truly dismal rate of my own posts, that I have been forced to get it into my head to start posting everday here.
Get ready to be bored to your very soul...

Had a gig at the Green Room on Tuesday. I didn't post about it until now, because I was hoping to have the photos on my computer so I could post them up here. I don't. I will soon enough though, and then you'll be able to see them, along with listening to some of the recordings.
It was a pretty good night, despite the lack of people (it is January after all). People who were there seemed to enjoy it, plus we got paid and booked again for March, so a pretty much excellent night all round!
Bad points included us cocking up my favourite song: the immortal 'Put Your Hand on my Trowel', my girlfriend Laura and her friends getting kicked out for being under 18- sorry Laura! (Good job the staff didn't find out how old I am!), and the horrible feedback from the PA system, which spoilt quite a few of the recordings. However, these were only minor flaws from an otherwise wondrous evening of musical merriment.
Roll on March 7th!
On a more up to date note, cooked made-up stir fry last night out of anything and everything we could find. Was actually really nice! Leo's advice for the month- Carrots, tuna and red cabage stir fry very well, as do sweetcorn, peas and garlic.

New Year celebrations and musical merriments abound this past couple weeks. The joys of Christmas led quickly onto the long cold journey North to lovely Peebles, the future home of Andrew and Lesley, and then to the abode of my Father and, for the period, my older brother Joel.
Went to stay at a big lodge, played much music and danced (well, some people danced, I'm not really the type I'm afraid) the nights away. Pictures and music at Joel's blog (I still don't know how to create links on this blogger yet, so I'll have to give you the URL, which is www.joelstewart.co.uk/blog/blogger.html
In other news, I wrote another twenty-six pages of my book whilst away, which is nice. Plus a few new poems and a song. Been very productive, if a bit chilly.
More updates as they come.
