Not posted anything in a while, so I thought I should just say something anyway, to reassure everyone that I'm still alive. Not much been going on, except playing banjo in school (it's amazing how few people notice these things), and Blogger not laoding properly, so it took longer than it should have done to post this featureless message...

In the meantime, here is a picture of my favourite animal, the Grant's Golden Mole!

Been to Liverpool today to visit the Walker and Tate galleries. What fun!

Walker wasn't massivley impressive, I'm not really a fan of pre-raphelite art, so it didn't excite me all that much. The Tate was much nicer, with a whole room dedicated to Turner. Hoorah! Plus all sorts of other modern art interestingness...

Spent the weekend in London with my theatre studies group. Jolly good fun and all that, went to see two extremely upmarket theatrical productions: 'Just for show' by DV8 at the National (utterly fantastic, well worth seeing) and 'An Epitaph for George Dillon' At the Comedy theatre (Not really worth bothering with unless you fancy Joseph Fiennes, which apparently all our theatre studies teachers do). All in all, a thouroughly enjoyable couple of days, even if we did have to call the police to extract a few ruffians off the train on the return journey. All part of the experience I suppose.

Charity gig loveliness this evening, playing with another Blues band in a gig raising money for the Hurricane Katrina appeal. We had a good time, and everyone else seemed to enjoy it too, including our featured artist, Carl Dreadlocks, the man with one of the most impressive hairdos in the world ( don't think I need to elaborate).

Anyway, a good night was had by all, especially with all the free Quay lime pie!
